Terms of Service
The agreement between you and us when you build and buy a Tourcraft site. Written to be read: if anything here is unclear, ask and we’ll answer plainly.
Version 2026-10-19
1. Who we are
Tourcraft is run by Tourcraft Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17483252), whose registered office is at 30 Watercress Drive, Sevenoaks, TN14 5AL. You can contact us at support@tour-craft.co.uk.
In these terms, “we” and “us” mean Tourcraft, and “you” means the person who creates an account and builds a tour site (the organiser). The people on your tour who view the site are your group.
2. What Tourcraft is
Tourcraft lets you build an unlisted tour website, one that anyone with its link or trip code can view, and nobody else can find (section 6), and a companion app view, for a golf trip. You enter the details of the trip; we use them, together with an AI writing tool, to produce the words on your site; and we host it.
3. Who can use it
You must be 18 or over to create an account and buy a site. The people on your tour may be any age; see section 8 on adding other people.
4. Buying a site
4.1 What you buy. A purchase gives one tour site a year of editing from the day you pay, on the package you choose:
| Package | Price (including VAT) |
|---|---|
| Pro | £59 |
| Tour | £89 |
| Tour Plus: up to 10 sites on one account, each on Tour | £199 |
Tour Plus covers sites rather than being a site: sites you have already bought join it, new sites start on it with nothing more to pay, and every covered site’s year runs with Tour Plus’s own.
Every site on Tour Plus ends on the same day as Tour Plus itself: a site added later in the year gets the remaining time, not a year of its own, and the exact day is shown before you pay. Up to 10 sites can be on it at once; deleting one frees its place. A site you had already bought a year for keeps the later of the two end dates when it joins, so joining never shortens it. When Tour Plus ends, editing stops on every site on it together; you can renew Tour Plus for all of them, or renew a single site on its own at the normal price.
What the writing tool will do. Our writing tool writes, and rewrites on request, the words on a site up to 40 times in total. That is far more than a site needs; it is stated here because it is a limit on what you buy.
4.2 After the year. Your site stays online, exactly as you last published it, and your group can keep viewing it. What stops is editing. You can renew for another year at any time to edit again, and a renewal never shortens the year you are in. We will email you before your year ends. Nothing renews automatically: a year ends unless you choose to renew it. See section 10 for what happens if Tourcraft ever closes.
4.3 Upgrading. You can move a site from Pro to Tour during its year by paying the difference, £30. Your year does not change.
4.4 Paying. Payments are taken by our payment provider, Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where it applies.
4.5 Starting straight away, and your right to cancel. When you buy something online you normally have 14 days to change your mind. Your site is made available to you the moment you pay, so when you pay you are asked to request that we start straight away. You keep your right to cancel within 14 days. If you cancel within those 14 days we refund you in full under our guarantee (4.6), unless your trip starts within those 14 days, in which case the site has been supplied for the trip it was for and we refund you less a fair amount for what has been provided by then. To cancel, tell us by any clear statement: an email to support@tour-craft.co.uk saying you want to cancel is enough, and you do not have to give a reason.
4.6 Our money-back guarantee. If you ask within 14 days of paying, we refund the full amount you paid for that purchase, unless your trip starts within 14 days of the day you paid: the one exception, because the site has then already been delivered for the trip it was for. This is a promise on top of your legal rights, not a limit on them.
How to ask. Email support@tour-craft.co.uk with your tour’s name. Refunds are handled by a person, not through the website, and go back to the card you paid with.
What happens to your site. After a refund under the guarantee, your site is taken offline for your group and editing stops. What you wrote is not deleted: it stays in your account, and if you buy a year again later, tell us and we will put the site back as it was.
4.7 Goodwill refunds. Outside the guarantee, we may offer a full or partial refund if something has gone wrong. That is at our discretion, is separate from the guarantee, and does not affect your statutory rights (4.8).
4.8 Your statutory rights are not affected. Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015: for example, that what we supply is as described and of satisfactory quality.
5. Paying before you start
You choose a package and pay before you start building a site, unless we have given you a voucher code, which you enter on the payment page instead. The writing tool’s limit is set out in section 4.
6. Your site and your trip code
Every tour has a trip code. Anyone who has the code, or the link, can view the published site; that is how your group gets in without needing an account. Treat the code like a house key: share it with the people you want to see the site. A site is unlisted, not password-protected: it is not listed or advertised anywhere, and anyone with its link or code can view it.
7. What you put on your site
7.1 You are responsible for it. That includes words you write, words you accept from the AI writing tool, and photographs you upload.
7.2 Check the words. The AI writing tool works only from what you tell it, and we instruct it never to invent facts. It can still get things wrong. Please read what it writes before you publish.
7.3 Don’t post anything unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or that you do not have the right to use (for example, someone else’s photograph or logo).
7.4 Photographs. When you upload a photograph you confirm that the people shown have agreed to appear on the site (for a tribute, that their family has agreed), and that you took the photograph or have its owner’s permission to publish it. This is the same confirmation you give before you start building your site. Photographs are checked automatically before they appear, and some are checked by a person; we may decline any photograph.
7.5 Tributes. A tour may include tributes to people who have died. A tribute shows only the name, words and photograph you provide: our writing tool is never given it and adds nothing to it. Please write it with the care it deserves; we will remove a tribute if we are asked to by someone with good reason.
7.6 Permission to host it. You retain any rights you hold in what you add. You give us permission to store, copy, resize, check, display and deliver it (including in the app’s offline copy on your group’s devices) for the purpose of running your site and app view, and for no other purpose. That permission ends when the content is deleted, except for copies in backups, which are overwritten in the normal course. Our software, designs and templates remain ours.
7.7 Taking things down. We may remove content, or suspend a site, if it breaks this section or the law, or if we receive a complaint we believe is justified. We will tell you why unless the law stops us.
8. Adding other people
Your site will name the people on your tour and may show their handicaps and photographs. You must only add people who are happy to be added, and you must tell them: the message below is yours to send them before you add them; the Players chapter asks you to confirm it has reached everyone named, and the site cannot be published until it has. Keep to trip facts: nothing about anyone’s health, injuries, beliefs or private life. If something like that has crept in, take it out, and we remove it if we find it. For the way the site is hosted and checked we are responsible for their information under data protection law; for being entitled to add them, and for what you write about them, you are. Our privacy policy and the notice for players at /for-players explain it to them, and anyone on a site can contact us directly at support@tour-craft.co.uk to be corrected or removed.
The message to send. Copy this, put your trip’s name in, and send it to everyone you add, before you add them:
9. Your account, and ending it
You can download a copy of everything we hold for your account, or delete your account and every tour on it, at any time from Your data when signed in. Deleting is permanent and takes your published sites offline. We keep records of payments for as long as the law requires, even after an account is deleted.
We may close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, after telling you why and, unless the breach is unlawful content or serious harm to others, giving you a chance to put it right. If we close it and you had paid for a year that has not run out, we refund the unused part, pro rata by whole month.
10. If Tourcraft changes or closes
We may improve and change the service. If we ever stop running Tourcraft, we will give you at least 90 days’ notice by email; your sites stay online and viewable throughout that time; you can download everything you added from Your data; and we refund the unused part of any year you have paid for, pro rata by whole month.
11. Availability
We work to keep sites online, but we cannot promise the service will never be interrupted, for example during maintenance, or through problems at the companies that host it.
12. Our responsibility to you
12.1 We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill.
12.2 We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
12.3 Tourcraft is for personal, non-commercial use. We are not responsible for loss of business or profit.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change affects a year you have already paid for, we will tell you in advance, and it will not apply to that year without your agreement. The version you accepted is recorded with your purchase.
14. Complaints and the law
Please tell us first at support@tour-craft.co.uk and we will try to put it right. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
